Project Manager (Cybersecurity / AI / Education Program)

This engagement involves comprehensive end-to-end project leadership within a complex, multi-country environment. The service provider will operate primarily from Poland while undertaking regular travel to Togo and other locations across Africa. The scope of services includes coordinating several parallel workstreams - such as technical implementation, training initiatives, logistics, governance, and reporting -ensuring that all activities remain aligned, documented, and delivered in accordance with the agreed plan. The engagement calls for strong adaptability to dynamic field conditions, close collaboration with public-sector stakeholders, and the ability to structure and drive new projects from the ground up.

Scope of Services:

• lead and coordinate complex cybersecurity, AI, and education programs across multiple countries,
• develop project structures, schedules (including Gantt charts), work breakdown structures (WBS), budgets, and governance processes,
• manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and financial performance,
• oversee multiple workstreams, including technical implementation, training programs, logistics, and reporting,
• prepare stakeholder reports, executive summaries, and materials for steering committees,
• ensure alignment across technical teams, public sector clients, subcontractors, and partners,
• manage escalations and conduct regular progress reviews,
• support effective collaboration in multicultural environments (Europe–Africa),
• undertake international travel and oversee field operations.

Expected Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of project management experience in large, complex, multi-country or multi-stakeholder projects,
• proven ability to manage complex projects both remotely and on-site,
• strong experience in coordinating across technical teams, client leadership, public sector stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors,
• proven ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies,
• ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel, including technical implementation, training and education programs, governance, reporting, logistics, and partner coordination,
• excellent drafting and presentation skills in French and English (fluency in both languages),
• experience with project management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, hybrid),
• experience with MS Project or equivalent project management tools,
• ability to work across European and African business cultures,
• willingness to travel frequently and work in dynamic field conditions,
• strong autonomy, discipline, and delivery focus.
